"Fun and Learning at National Science Centre Museum!

Established in 1992, the National Science Centre Museum is dedicated to science. It's a division of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an independent body under the Ministry of Culture of India.

It is one of the largest science centres in India, which was established mainly for the kids to cultivate their interest in the field of science.

There is an array of working science models in its complex that visitors operate  themselves. These science models are designed to make children understand the fundamentals of scientific facts to know how it works.

Interesting Galleries, Interesting Activities

It comprises of eight permanent halls filled with interesting exhibits. The first gallery on the third floor is dedicated for Indian Heritage and features Science and Technology.

There is also a Gallery for Human Biology and a Gallery on Being Human. It also features a gallery on Prehistoric Life on the third floor that showcases the evolution of life on earth.

For kids who want to enjoy fun with education can visit the Fun Science Gallery on the first floor that exhibits the march of information Revolution right from cave paintings to the internet.

The saga of an evolution of Communication Technology over past 6,000 years in India can be seen here in a large exposition.

On the ground floor is situated the latest addition to the galaxy of galleries, “Emerging Technologies- a look into the future”. This gallery introduces the visitors to different sunrise technologies that promise to change the human life in upcoming years. These technologies include Information and Communication Technology, Space Technology, Oceanography and Earth Sciences, Medical and Biotechnology, Material Science, Nanotechnology, Agricultural Technology, Energy and Transportation Technology.
