Dilli Haat, located opposite INA Market, is an open-air food and crafts market that showcases the authentic charm of rural India. In other words, it is a kaleidoscope of regional cultures at one place. It is one of the most popular markets in Delhi where foreigners and locals flock to shop their favourite goods and goodies.

The market is situated on 6 acres of land. It was recouped as part of a renovation project and converted into a plaza. Far-reaching foundation work, small but beautiful cottages with thatched roof and stalls give it a rustic look. While some shops located here are permanent, others are invited on a rotational basis of fifteen days.

A wide array of products for shoppers

Products that one can buy here at Dilli Haat include sophisticated fabric, embroidered camel hide footwear, rosewood/ sandalwood carvings, drapery, beads, gems, metal crafts, brassware, handlooms, handicrafts, jewellery and a lot more.

Those who love ethnic wear can rush to the stalls of Rajasthan and Northeast state selling kurtas, shawls, footwear, dupattas and silver jewellery.

There are stalls of Mughal paintings from Rajasthan and Madhubani paintings from Bihar to jazz up the walls of your house.
For the interiors of your home, you can choose Black Pottery and ceramic wares from Manipur.

For décor and decorations, there are dhurries, wall hangings wooden toys, drums and more.

For budgeted shoppers there are cane products such as trays and jewellery boxes.

Visitors and shoppers can relish the unique flavours of rural India be it Kahwa and Kebab of Jammu, momos of Sikkim, the Bamboos hot chicken of Nagaland, Dhokla of Gujarat or Pooranpoli of Maharashtra. There is no dearth of options as the place is home to more than 25 food stalls offering the variety of foods with a rustic touch.

There is an open-air theatre as well as a children’s play area for recreational activities. The theatre hosts folk performances time to time which showcases the intriguing diversity of Indian culture.
